We offer superior wear and abrasion resistance in our Endless & Open Ended PU Timing Belt, with a standard steel cord reinforcement as well as other specialized grades designed for lifting, positioning, and conveying applications; these belts are available in a wide range of profiles, including imperial, metric T, metric AT, RPP, HTD, STD, QST, and flat, all extruded to tight tolerances for precise tooth-to-tooth, thickness, and profile consistency; the addition of a nylon coating on the drive side provides lower noise generation, reduced belt-to-pulley friction, and enhanced wear resistance, while also allowing for low-friction, easy product accumulation and loading; and to further customize our Open Ended PU Timing Belt, we can extrude them in alternative urethanes, such as low-temperature, high-temperature, and food-grade formulations, as well as a variety of colors to suit your specific needs.
The high-grade polyurethane gives excellent abrasion and shear resistance, combined with a variety of graded steel cords, ensuring high strength and tractive resistance. Various grades of steel cords offer good running characteristics, even with high tractive loads. Manufactured to tight tolerances, Megadyne PU Timing Belts deliver reliability and excellent dimensional stability. The addition of a Nylon coating on the tooth and/or the back of the belt during production, enhances the running properties for specific applications. An extra thickness of polyurethane is also possible on the back of the belt, offering extra protection against aggressive or heavy products.
